El Pitayo is the name of a tall flowering cactus that produces fruit in our home state of Guanajuato in Mexico. We started this business in 2005 with a taco truck and a dream. El Pitayo is the result of all the years of hard work and dedication in making that dream come true. Your business and support truly means everything to us and we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
We are excited to share our love of interior Mexican and Tex Mex food with you. We believe in authenticity and quality, and we care about every single taco that leaves our kitchen. The food we serve at El Pitayo is always made from scratch and cooked fresh to order. We trim our meats by hand. Our marinades don't come from a packet.
